Authenticity and Community
Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. We’re here to share life and faith together.
Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. We’re here to share life and faith together.
Whether you’re 8 or 80, God is working in and through you, and we want you involved!
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do—serving and growing together.
Worship goes beyond Sundays; it’s how we live every day.
We’re passionate about giving— our time, resources, and hearts— to help those in need.
His love drives us to share the hope of Jesus with everyone, from our neighbors to the nations.

In 1931, Reverend Thomas J. Farris founded First Assembly of God in Valley Park, Missouri. A former Catholic turned Pentecostal pioneer, Brother Farris was called to Valley Park after preaching a baby’s funeral. Though the early days were marked by hardship, persecution, and makeshift revival meetings by lantern light, God’s presence drew crowds and transformed lives. With just 15 cents in the first offering, the church began a journey of faith that continues today.
Under the leadership of Rev. and Mrs. L.C. Ramsey (1937–1940), the congregation built its first permanent structure at 5th and Vest—financed in part by mortgaging a car. Later, during Rev. E.L. Glenn’s 19-year pastorate (1945–1964), a new church was built and dedicated in 1949, becoming a thriving center for revival, healing, and community growth.
In 2001, under Pastors Jeff and Patti Cox, the church relocated to Fenton, Missouri, becoming New Hope Fellowship. A new sanctuary was completed in 2003 under the direction of Pastors Dan and Nora Ross (2002-2025), and the ministry continued to grow in attendance, missions, and outreach. In 2015, God opened another door—a move to the 75-acre property of All God’s Children Camp on Antire Road, offering room for expanded ministry and community impact.
Through every season, New Hope Fellowship has remained steadfast in its mission: to bring hope through Jesus Christ. From humble beginnings to a flourishing family of believers, we celebrate almost a century of God’s faithfulness—and look forward to all He has yet to do.
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
We believe in one God who reveals Himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one, working together in perfect unity.
We believe Jesus is God’s Son, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns in heaven.
We believe everyone needs forgiveness. Salvation comes only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not by our works, but by God’s grace.
We practice water baptism and share in Holy Communion as expressions of our faith and obedience to Christ.
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers for daily living and service. The baptism in the Holy Spirit—with the evidence of speaking in tongues—is available to all believers.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship, serve, grow, and share the good news with the world.
We believe Jesus is coming again! We look forward to His return, the resurrection of believers, and eternal life with Him.
