Blessed are the Meek

Matthew 5:5 (NLT) “God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.”
Jesus continues describing the character of those who belong to His kingdom. To be meek is not to be weak, but to show gentleness and humility—a quiet strength that trusts God rather than striving to control outcomes by force or manipulation. True meekness is strength under God’s control, grounded in faith that He will make things right in His time.
In contrast to the world’s belief that power, wealth, or dominance secure success, Jesus declares that it is the meek—those who surrender their strength to God—who will ultimately inherit the earth.
