In Matthew 6:5–8, Jesus confronts the temptation to turn prayer into a performance for others or a formula to influence God. Instead, He invites His followers to pray simply, sincerely, and privately—trusting that their Father already sees and knows what they need. Prayer is not about being noticed or saying the right words, but about relating honestly to God - an actual relationship, nothing else.
